The IMIA is a Preferred Provider ICC chapter that serves to provide ICC recognized continuing education trainings to Building Inspectors and Code officials charged with the enforcement and administration of the IFGC and IMC to maintain ICC certifications.
About ICC Illinois Mechanical Inspectors Association Chapter
Our chapter serves Inspectors in the state of Illinois. We hold Preferred Provider meetings every other month on the third Tuesday at $30 per person, which includes lunch. Our focus is rooted in the Mechanical realm, but our trainings can be beneficial to numerous other disciplines in the Building Industry including Designers, Technicians, Building and Code officials, interested students’ and apprentices, or anyone needing CEU’s for certification renewals.
To promote consistent, uniform interpretations, enforcement, and administration of the International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC) and International Mechanical Code (IMC) throughout the state of Illinois as an ICC Proffered Provider chapter.
